Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2024

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Noniqu website and the provision of Wi-Fi and local network configuration services by Noniqu ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Who We Are

Noniqu is the provider of the services described on this website, specialising in the configuration of Wi-Fi networks and local area networks for domestic and commercial premises.

You can contact us using the following details:

2. Placing and Confirming an Order

Orders for our services may be placed via our website, by email, or by telephone. An order constitutes an offer by you to purchase services from us. No contract exists between you and Noniqu until we have accepted your order, which we will do by sending a written or email confirmation setting out the scope of work, the agreed price, and the proposed appointment date.

We reserve the right to decline any order, for example where the requested work falls outside our technical capability, where an appointment slot is unavailable, or where the address provided is outside our service area. In such cases, we will inform you promptly and no payment will be taken.

3. Prices, Payment and What Is Included

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and, unless stated otherwise, include any applicable VAT. Our quotation will specify what is included in the service, such as the configuration of routers, access points, or network devices, and any equipment supplied by us.

Payment is due as set out in the order confirmation, which may require a deposit prior to the appointment and the balance upon completion of the work. We accept payment by the methods indicated at the time of ordering. Any additional work requested on site that falls outside the original quotation will be agreed with you before being carried out and may incur additional charges.

Costs of third-party equipment not supplied by us, or of internet connectivity itself, are not included in our services unless expressly stated in the order confirmation.

4. Cancellation and Your Right to Change Your Mind

If you are a consumer contracting with us at a distance (for example, by ordering online or by phone) or off-premises, you generally have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of order confirmation without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

If you request that work begin before the 14-day cancellation period has expired, you may lose the right to cancel once the service has been fully performed, and you may be required to pay for services provided up to the point of cancellation.

To cancel, please contact us at [email protected] or by telephone at +44 161 755 3315, quoting your order reference. Any deposit paid will be refunded within 14 days of a valid cancellation, less any amount for work already carried out with your consent.

5. Complaints

We aim to provide a high standard of service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the work carried out, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] with details of the issue. We will investigate promptly and aim to resolve complaints fairly, which may include a return visit to rectify the issue or, where appropriate, a partial or full refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to the above, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the services giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data, loss of profit, or loss arising from third-party equipment, internet service provider outages, or pre-existing network faults beyond our control.

We will take reasonable care when configuring your network, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted connectivity, as this may depend on factors outside our control, including your internet service provider and the condition of existing hardware.

7. Cookies

This website uses a single cookie, cookie_pref, which stores your consent preference for a period of one year. No analytics, tracking, or session cookies are set by this website. Advertising measurement, where applicable, runs only after you have given consent, and only on the order confirmation page.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your right, as a consumer, to bring proceedings in your own local courts.

If you are a UK consumer and wish to raise a data protection concern that we have not resolved satisfactorily, you may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent supervisory authority for data protection matters.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in applicable law. The version published on this website at the time of your order shall apply to that order.
